Not for me, they aren't. For me they don't appear, no matter what skin is being used.Rhys Benjamin wrote:Working fine in AeroGreen man
I learn something new all the time. Only a few months ago, someone mentioned the "View active topics" button, and I've used it ever since, until it stopped working properly recently.Rhys Benjamin wrote:It appears you use "View active topics" while I see "View new posts".
Every post's title is a link. Click it, copy the resulting change to the URL in your browser's address bar.Howard Somerset wrote:link directly to a specific post in a thread. How's that done?
It shows all the posts since you last logged in.Howard Somerset wrote:Now I see "View new posts" for the first time. But it does seem just what it says - only the threads with the most recently added posts, five threads only in my case.Rhys Benjamin wrote:It appears you use "View active topics" while I see "View new posts".
Thanks Matt. I tried it - didn't work. So I switched to prosilver ... and it worked!Matt Morrison wrote:Every post's title is a link. Click it, copy the resulting change to the URL in your browser's address bar.Howard Somerset wrote:link directly to a specific post in a thread. How's that done?

Haha, aerogreen fails again! There is another method which may work without you having to change skins Howard - on prosilver there is a little page icon to the left of "by <poster's name>" (it's orange for a new post, white usually)... if you click this it has the same effect of giving you a direct URL to the post in question... maybe the icon appears on aerogreen even if the clickable title link doesn't?Howard Somerset wrote:Thanks Matt. What's actually happened though? It's not as if the "view active topics" thing has stopped working altogether because it works for a couple of the subforums? Could you move every other forum so that they become a subsubforum inside one of the working subforums to make the whole thing right? You could then rename some stuff to make it look sensible.Charlie Reams wrote:yesGavin Chipper wrote:Is this likely to be permanent?
I really have no idea, it seems like they've changed the way that page works.Gavin Chipper wrote:What's actually happened though?
