Can't help thinking RR should have worn a more appropriate dress in front of a minor

Because minors never watch Countdown usually...

And EUSTASY. LODICULE for a beater in the last round. A phenomenal conundrum spot and a fantastic debut. I look forward to watching your next 7 Eoin

.
You came across really really well as well and you don't look like the kind of kid who'd spend his whole life with his nose in a dictionary, so well hidden!

Good ton debut, Eoin. Hopefully you can become the next octochamp of the series.
You seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the Countdown experience.

Obviously vwp Eoin, you beat me 108-102 on the crucial. PORTIERE was class as well. Thought you'd be really annoying but you seemed pretty cool, plus I thought you came across very well. Hope you go all the way!

31:58 on 4OD. Listen to Alistair Stewart calling him "Yoo-yin" or something. Haha.
Well done Eoin. You came across as a proper little cheeky scamp of the best variety. Too cheeky to be annoying.
I just hope the next 7 shows aren't expectedly boring and somebody challenges you slightly or you do something cool like some homework in between rounds.

Great show today. I think I love you Eoin. You're on par with Peter Godwin for favourite contestant this series for me and you've only done one show.
My favourite moments of today's show though, goes to two pieces by Alastair Stewart. Firstly when Susie spotted DETOXES Alastair's "Oh right" was so funny. And then when he started blabbing on about seeing MAID, stick MER in front for MERMAID and MIRED, stick AD in front for ADMIRED like building blocks. I thought that was priceless.

Fantastic start Eoin, I look forward to the show(s) ahead. You seem very normal, too. I've gotta stay loyal to Kai, but you're a close second when it comes to my favourite Countdown prodigy. What a great series this is turning into.

Fuck Kai, he's a little shit. Plus he's turning ginger, even more to dislike about him.
Eoin > Kai

Oh God my funny wee accent, hurry up and get on Edward.
Anyway, thanks for all the wonderful comments guys, this was a dream come true for me and sitting on the bus home waiting for 4:25 was a nightmare! Like Jeff said, David was so gracious in defeat and was such a great player to play my debut against. The whole school knows now and it's so annoying explaining to them how it all works and all.
Anyway, thanks so much again for the comments and I look forward to tomorrow's show.
Also, it was a pleasure to meet Daniel and all the crew.

Very well done, Eoin. Very impressed.
Just in the middle of Robinson Recapping it as we speak.
Hopefully there are 7 more of them to come, and if there are, I get to recap another 3 of them.

I want to say something nice about Eoin too but I haven't seen the programme, so I'll just say that Ireland is a very fine country with lots of grass and other things like that.

Eoin you little superstar! I only caught up to the first numbers round before I had to go to work but I thought you were terrific. Emma watched too and filled me in on the rest of the show. Thought I might get lucky tonight but she was all "Eoin did this... and Monaghan that..." Anyway fair play! Keep it up
