Making words from GCSE grades. (As brought up by my cousin last night explaining his mate got FUDGE.) Cue him asking me the best words (he knows I've recorded) , I said DUDE and CABBAGE. Wouldn't that be an awesome thing to say at an interview, "Look, I know I didn't get the grades, but my results spell GAGGED, come on!"

Also making words from people in your school's name. Liam Brady = ADMIRABLY, Pat O'Neill = POLLINATE.

If Dinos were to write in this topic he would put something along the lines of:

Jack, I thought you would have mentioned the NICE DAY flip pads being CYANIDE.

At work recently someone (probably me) wondered aloud what was the longest word that's also a valid hexadecimal number (i.e. uses only the letters A-F).

I thought it was DEFACED, then a coworker came up with Fabaceae.

I thought that might be a word worth remembering, but it turns out that it's invalid - presumably due to capitalisation.

The best are: ACCEDED, DEFACED and EFFACED.

The NICE DAY pads and the IMPEGA pads you get always make me smile.

Similarly, words that consist entirely of the letters A through G (so that they can be spelled with musical notes). The best I've ever come up with is CABBAGE. Or if you use the German system and add H…then you can have the old Unlimited favourite DEADHEADED, but that would be a pretty boring tune.

Maybe so, but it makes me want to write one about a deadheaded cabbage that carries too much baggage.

One time I tried to start a conversation but everyone ignored me because they were busy climbing a mountain. That was a lot like playing apterous in real life.

Depending on font used, it might be possible to allow ACIDIFIED :?

I've not found any improvement by using 0 for O :(

On film trailers they usually say THIS YEAR which is HYSTERIA.

On some film trailers, the person responsible for typing THIS YEAR into Microsoft movie maker accidentally typed THILS YEAR, and im just like "HAIRSTYLE Mate, innit. BRAP!".

School inspired:

Irish: Doirteal - IDOLATER/TAILORED.
Leithrean - HERNIATE is the best I can manage.

Science: I came across CELL SAP in my book, minutes later my teacher mentioned SCALPEL.

Irish: For some reason my teacher was talking about INTERRAILing, and I was like, no, TRILINEAR.

Indeed, apparently can't be bothered to play in real life at all.

I came up with the idea when at a train station, only just got round to doing it. Original image is here. Now all I have to do is wait for the copyright lawsuits to roll in :)

At the National Scrabble Championship this weekend, the games were being held in the Brigante suite. Every. Single. Player, when asked, confessed to anagramming if before entry.
