Re: Free stuff!
Couldn't be bothered to find an appropriate thread but here goes.
Ryan Dunn died recently and it would seem he died in a most appropriate way considering his lifestyle, so I wondered if anyone could come up with some good potential ones.

How about if you cycled out in front of bus on a stolen bike and are killed by the anti-Semite bus driver who'd been sending you death threats.Marc Meakin wrote:Couldn't be bothered to find an appropriate thread but here goes.

Re: Free stuff!
Applause store have sent yet more X Factor auditions, audience tickets, this time for 2pm.(friday July 8th O2)
Probably means it's popularity is on the wane, but anyway if anyone is interested then you know what to do.
I managed to offload the 10am ones.

Damn, that is so annoying I would absolutely love to see that, but my boss is on holiday that week, so I have to stay at work.Marc Meakin wrote:Just applied for 6 tickets for Dave's One Night Stand 18th July in Richmond its Tim Vine.

Re: Free stuff!
Our local's had a refurb and they've got some proper sexy new Carlsberg glasses in there. Having been coveting them for a week or so now, one of our punters has had the decency to nick one and then bugger off, leaving it in the room.
Come to think of it we get a fair amount of stuff this way. Highlights include:
Any article of clothing you'd care to think about
Vast quantities of half-finished toiletries
Mobile chargers (we keep these though for when people forget theirs and pass them on)
Alarm clocks
Glasses (ie spectacles)
Various crockery / glasses / cruet / table decorations from local pubs and eateries
Assorted stationery
CDs / DVDs / assorted games
Luggage
Reading material
One-handed media
Toys / cards / games
'Couse, at some stage it starts getting more useful:
Passports
Mobiles
Credit / debit cards
Jewellery
Keys
Then you get the downright weird:
Toys (the other sort)
Tarot cards (I realise these aren't particularly peculiar in their own right but they'd left the room in a strange pentagram-stylie setup amidst various toys / bondage devices so one doesn't (?) like to speculate what they were doing in there)
Shame I'm not OCD really cos running a B&B could be a hoarder's dream
