As us Englishmen try to recover from "Das Debacle", as I have called it, there's the 2nd week of Countdown Series 63 to make us all bright again.

So, to recap, our new champion is sometime Apteforumite Annie Hawes, who despite a late comeback from Chris, became the first female champion since Gwen Robinson, from around 2 months ago.

How long will she last, bearing in mind that a certain half-decent Apterite is going to make his debut on Thursday. Not me, obviously.

Back in DC for his 4th stint, is comedian and "King of the One-Liners", Tim Vine. (Probably the perfect tonic, after THAT game.)

Ryan will be around for the recap later on.
