With Scott Gillies on fine form after yesterday's trouncing, can he reach the promised land of Octochampdom, or will he just fall short

Was Jeff a tad presumptious, yesterday, to suggest that Scott has already made it to the finals considering the amount of Aptotalent out there?
Although admittedly 7 Octochamps have been the max so far in a series.
