100-60 to Nicky, the banter was decent, I'd say its worth watching. Nicky played quite well too.

Nicky played very well - I was trailing (ringtail) for most of the game until she missed some maximums. Excellent play, girl.

You won 8 games consecutively which is what every other person who is titled an octochamp has done. That in itself deserves credit despite all this nonsense about points tally etc. Fact is you won 8 games which only 2 people did this series regardless of whether you won them by 1 point or 100 points. Well done to you.

Nicki today was on fire though I thought, she was quite relentless in all areas of her game and opening with PIMENTOS was brilliant. I think she has improved since her last appearance and could go on further. Well played to her.

Not surprised that the ever-consistent Nicki caused an upset. She always looks surprised when she wins the points.

Having not been on the show I'm probably not in the best position to comment but do we underestimate how important stamina is in a Countdown run? In a one off game I would expect James Rawson, Kevin Davies and maybe a couple of others who didn't qualify to beat a fair few of the finalists but at the end of the day the likes of you Danny had the concentration to score enough points to beat what's in front of you which is what made you well deserved second seed.

Nicki had improved considerably since her run though and was on fire particularly in the first part and a half. I think Lee has a great chance of beating Dave on Monday which would mean a repeat of the prelims in the finals, has this happened many times before?
