TBF, IMHO...

Just curious what people think when they read these abbreviations. I usually think fair for tbf, but for imho I can never be sure if people mean honest, humble, or something else altogether.

I've always understood IMHO to mean "in my humble opinion", but, IMO nobody is ever being humble when they say "IMHO", so the H is quite unnecessary.

I heard somewhere that a girl told one of her friends that her Dad had died and she sent a message back saying 'LOL' thinking it meant 'Lots of Love'.

'fair' because tbf very few people use the word 'frank' - unless they are Skinner or referring to him.
'humble' is necessary because imho one is thereby being ironical - a rather english sort of humour and I rather like it being biased of course

Well this question just came up for me on the Mastermind online quiz, and the answer was humble, not honest (both were options), so now we know.
