Re: The pencil thread
I think Bayfield would die happy if he ever pencilled this (also only available in Dutch - some controversy over the second 'D' though...)

There must some way to program this to work out a possible selection, but as my avatar says, I'm not your man.Adam Gillard wrote:I think Bayfield would die happy if he ever pencilled this (also only available in Dutch - some controversy over the second 'D' though...)

Re: The pencil thread
Speaking of Welsh words, I'm rather proud of this one. Dictionary Corner gave it to me earlier tonight, and I was like "how could I have missed that, it's just FOISTED". Eight games and two new personal bests later, I started having the worst lag I've ever experienced on Apterous, ever, and decided I'd stop after that game. It came up in the very last round (and I was sitting there for most of the time thinking "I wonder if there's anything better than FEISTIEST in there?" Lag can be pretty distracting – especially when your graphics are also messed up, which may or may not have anything to do with the lag…).
Oh, and I tried declaring Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllandysiliogogogoch in Dutch Aegilops, but it kept disallowing it (saying it wasn't in the dictionary). Apparently it thought I'd only entered the first 20 letters or so. (I'm pretty sure I spelled it right at least once out of 20 rounds.)

Just discovered this:
2010-07-21 04:00:11 Innis Carson got a bronze pencil for PENCILLERS!
Thanks Innis, appreciate it. On a related note, PENCILLER is still available.

This has to be my favourite since this. Used to go to Periwinkle Cottage in Somerset many years ago. Beautiful place; happy memories.
