Team Countdown/apterous

A bit of a fun thread whilst we're deprived of the televised show.

If you had to make a team to play Countdown who would you have in it. You're allowed yourself and two others but the twist is once a player has been picked (unless it's yourself) then they can't be picked again.

For example if the first person picked Kirk then nobody else other than Kirk himself would be able to pick him.

To be eligable they have to have been on the show (winner or loser at any point in history) or have played on apterous.

Me, Pauline Huggins, Jeffrey Hansford.

I'd need all the help I could get, no matter by what means it was obtained.

Me and Jeffrey Burgin of course. And Craig Chittenden.
But I don't think I am eligible. Nice thought though.

Me, Stewart Holden & Craig Beevers, just to be Scrabbly and elite, even if they are better than me at both games (hasn't stopped me from beating them before though :)).

I don't get it, what does the team do once it's been formed? Just walk around in a gang doing stuff together?

Me, Paul Gallen and Junaid Mubeen. Paul Gallen was pretty much God in the CofC and Junaid will mop up all the numbers rounds. I'll sit back and take the glory.

Team Dent / Morrison / Brittain / Hunter took on two of the greats of the game in some team specials (everyone consented), here's how it went:

Us 102 - 101 Kirk
Us 84 - 118 Kirk
Us 106 - 99 Innis
Us 74 - 127 Innis
Us 92 - 70 Innis

Since he hasn't been mentioned, can I suggest Charlie Reams sandwiched between Maria Martin and Reuben Kay.

Am I the only one who misread the antipenultimate word as 'groped'?
