Spoilages for Monday 5th April 2010

Just found out through Facebook that one of my old sixth form teachers, Mr. Tamplin, is doing Countdown soonish. (Well, 'today', if I've remembered to resurrect this thread appropriately come April.)
When the Queen and Prince Philip came to visit our school for its quincentennial celebrations, Philip introduced himself to Tamplin by referring to his stubbly beard and asking "my God, what is that ghastly thing on your face?". It'd be a pretty heated encounter if Prince Philip happens to be in the champion's chair by this point.
On the 5th of April, Easter Monday, forget your hangovers and the fact that work is only a sleep away........sit down and enjoy as Channel 4 host Stephen "The Dictionary" Tamplin giving it his all on the world famous show, Countdown.
Join the 2 million viewers and tune in to watch Tamp Dogg Senior pull out some words you believed not to exist and some maths that calculators struggle to even understand.
