Given that I'm already a vegetarian, this was pretty easy. Otherwise it would be a toss-up between Countdown and meat. I'm pretty sure alcohol has given me more fun than Countdown ever will, and sex isn't even worth discussing.

How often do you have sex?
I also don't eat animals and I can't drink milk anyway, but I couldn't live without cheese. Sex is fun, Countdown is fun, so it had to be alcohol.

I have drunken sex with animals and then eat them, so it had to be Countdown for me.

At my age, it has to be sex

Pretty much the same as Charlie - sex and Countdown are fucking awesome, although I've never tried blending the two. Meat tastes too nice and I've never understood vegetarians. It has to be alcohol for me...I've started playing darts sober as squash is £1 a pint rather than the cider I usually have which is £3 a pint. Saving lots of money and I can still go out and dance like a guy with a raccoon up his arse without having alcohol.

A pint of squash is 25p at my favourite pub, but if you ask for it they look at you like you're a total prick, which you basically have to be to spend 25p on a drink in a pub.

Think it used to be 50p until a few kept drinking it and he put it up to £1. Everyone wins though - he knows I'm skint so I get a drink for virtually nothing and he's making a large percentage profit on each drink.

Yeah for sure, I think a quid is a fair price, especially if you use the dartboard.

I put Countdown as I have tried giving up the other three with no success.

Well, I've gone for alcohol.

I enjoy all 4 but the only one that wouldn't give me violent mood swings if I gave it up is alcohol.

After last night, it definitely has to be alcohol. Apologies if I called any of your mothers a slag on apterous.

Well, no - you might want a pint of squash because you want a pint of squash, rather than because you're a cheapskate. If they choose to charge 25p for it and yet look at anyone like they're a total prick for buying it, then they're the total pricks!

Aye, but if you go to the pub wanting orange squash, you're a total prick.

No-brainer: I've voted for the one I already gave up years ago.

Congrats Douglas on the award for "Most Banal poll of the Year" at the recent awards. Why not add breathing & pissing next year to ensure retention of the title.

This is a forum mainly about Countdown.
Having a poll really about whether it's as essential to members as other important (but not vital such as breathing) things in life, is quite interesting IMHO.
The number of replies indicates that I'm not alone.
