DC: DEFILES (7)
OT: DEFLESH (7) SHELFED (7) OILSEED (7)
Score: 0–7 (max 7)

Raheel gets FOILED as he falls behind immediately.

Round 2: R J V S E U P A S

C1: MODERATE (8)
C2: DREAM (5)
DC: MENTORED (8)
OT: NEMATODE (8)
Score: 14–7 (max 22)

Raheel has clearly been MENTORED there, although everyone wormed away from NEMATODE.

Round 4: C I N G O E T N S

C1: COSTING (7)
C2: COSTING (7)
DC: CONSIGN (7) SECTION (7) NOTICES (7)
OT: SCENTING (8)
Score: 21–14 (max 30)

A wide range of 7's but the smell of SCENTING eludes everyone.

Raheel pulls away further, but Jeff gets the glory with 10 points to himself. ;) :) :D  8-)

Teatime teaser: RANFIGHT -> FARTHING

C2: CLAIMERS (8)
OT: CALORIES (8) CARIOLES (8) CAMISOLE (8) MIRACLES (8) RECLAIMS (8) MORALISE (8)
Score: 47–34 (max 70)

But, not for long, as Raheel's dodgy 7 is just that, as Colin gets one of the variety of 8's available.

A CARIOLE is a small, open, two-wheeled vehicle.

Susie's Origin Of Words tells of the origins of "Pop Goes the Weasel".

Round 10: 50, 75, 3, 8, 2, 6. Target: 237.

C1: 237. (75 x 3) + (6 x 2) (10)

C2: -
RR: 826. ((50 + 2) x (10 + 6)) - 10 + 4 (10)
Score: 85–41 (max 123)

A tricky numbers there for the contestants, but Raheel gets 5 points.

Round 15: G R E E N S O D S

No one buzzes. The answer was ENGROSSED.
Score: 85–41 (max 133)

A tricky conundrum there, but Raheel has reached his 4th win. How far can he go :?:

Colin definitely was one of the most entertaining contestants we've had for a while and you could tell he had an enjoyable time on the show.

Enlightenment is a wonderful thing. There are some horrendous examples of bad grammar on some of the posters that go up at work, normally word processed by a supposedly literate senior manager, that say things like "this effect's the business" :x Makes me cringe!

Oh great recap btw.

ps your smilie average just went down on that last post :o
