Post words you used that somebody else taught you. Maybe because you want to show gratitude, or just wanna brag.
Dinos taught me CENOTAPH and TRIGAMOUS recently, which I have both used a couple of times since.
DoD played KEIRETSU against me once, which I was able to pick out in a recent goatdown round.
Charlie mentioned OVOLO at CoLei, which I got a pencil for the other week.
REXY taught me WAKAME, which I think I also got a pencil for a few months later.

Charlie taught me pretty much everything I know, albethey mostly the 'common' words that are pretty essential in improving - mainly things like ADIPOSE, MOPANI, POINTE, ENTRAIN, OUTSPAN, OVERSAIL, VAGINAE and so on, with the odd bit of GHERAO thrown in. Cheers chap. Oh, and HAIRDO.

Re: Hand me down words
I picked up on WOOMERA for the first time from this game, although (thanks to the wiki) it might have been subconsciously reinforced by the first round of the series 61 final, where both guys spotted it.
I feel like there must be more examples than this, but this is the only one that's stuck in my head for some reason.
