Jason's sequence of events

Jason has had a big sequence of events in the last few hours. He callsa the condition he has flawtism.

Ok, I'll stop talking about myself in the third person.

I find myself asking these three questions.

1. Why would Jon Corby turn down my friend request on Facebook?
2. If Debbi Flack told me "not to ever change, and that I was lovely just as I am, why would Jon Corby swear at me for no apparent reason?
3. Why would Dinos Sfyris have the courage to ask Emma to marry him when he knows it makes me jealous?

I intend to make this more of like a reality show than a soap opera since it will end eventually, but I hope Charlie's attitude will not change after he reads this.

Yeah.. I'm starting to think more and more that Jason is in fact in complete knowledge and control of what he's doing and saying, and is some sort of egotistical monster getting kicks out of all this. Which means, all this time.. the joke has been on us. It's about time we got out some flaming torches and pitchforks, I think.

I never thought the day would come but here it is... I agree completely, RB.

That's not true!

Charlie, I am definitely going to get over this!

I'm curious to know in what way this makes you jealous, Jason. Are you jealous of Dinos? Or of Emma?

Both of them, Howard.

Okay, I'll have a go at these, since I've got no hope with any of Matt Bayfield's sports/maths puzzles
1. Why would Jon Corby turn down my friend request on Facebook?
He is jealous of you
2. If Debbi Flack told me "not to ever change, and that I was lovely just as I am, why would Jon Corby swear at me for no apparent reason?
In the context Jon used it, the word "bollocks" is not swearing at someone, as he was using it for its proper meaning of "testicles"
3. Why would Dinos Sfyris have the courage to ask Emma to marry him when he knows it makes me jealous?
Although he is one of your biggest fans, Dinos loves Emma even more.

*fingers crossed*

This is merely an internet forum. We have not met most of the people with whom we exchange messages. Therefore, it seems entirely reasonable to conduct one's real (as opposed to virtual) life without consulting or considering the members of this forum. For example, I eat meat without worrying about offending vegetarians. So why would I let someone on this forum influence my life decisions?

I agree. But while most of us appreciate the distinction between real and virtual lives, I'm not so sure Jason does. Or, perhaps, his virtual life is his real life. Which makes me wonder, does he get a boner every time a woman (or indeed a man, if the recent revelation is anything to go by) posts a reply to him that ends with an 'x', as though he has really been kissed? :|

Karen speaks da truth, Jason. Heck if I didn't ask Emma's dad for permission (and in fact he'd have said no! :o ) I'm not going to seek it from anyone here!

I really can't tell how genuinely upset you are, Jason, as you seem to be spinning this into a big melodrama. May I reiterate Julie's words of wisdom from the other thread and hope you get over it soon so we can be fwends again.

No, I want you to know that it is not the end of the world, Dinos.

We can still communicate on the forum.

But you won't be his friend on Facebook unless he promises not to get married?

Yup Jase, he's having a joke at your expense. He doesn't mean any harm by it at all, although people often get offended by this sort of thing. Best not to though as it's only a bit of sillyness.
