The photo of her from today on the Sun's article looks really bad on my screen. Is it something to do with my setup, or is anyone else getting it?
Also, I was under the impression that £95 for a dress really isn't very much, but I'll admit I'm not an expert on that front.

Yeah, the red dress one is somewhat 'hall of mirrors' on my screen. I'm no fashionista but £95 for that dress seems pretty good value.

Nah, the Sun photo is very shoddy. Having said that, I'm no fashion expert either, so if there are any fashionistas on the forum, please help us out.

I think 95 quid to look that fabulous is a real bargain, however...she is most certainly built to wear it very well, bless her!

What would you look like in that red dress, Sarah?
Actually, maybe we'll see you in one on the show

Nowhere near as good - by a long long way - alas, all the gym and running around in the world doesn't turn a thirty three year old mother of two into a stunningly fit and gorgeous 20something year old. And, if my current rate of progress continues, expect me wearing a twin set and pearls in about 20 years time, when i finally pluck up the courage to audition!

No, but me drinking about seven pints does.
(Edit to say this is meant as a generic joke and definitely not directed at Sarah personally!)

Or indeed Mrs. Jon.
I wonder if Carol sat at home watching Rachel in that dress, while swigging from a botttle of Mother's Ruin and slurring
Lady in Red?

Funny you should mention that song.
(The quality's a bit ropey in places because some dude assembled it from jpegs and gifs posted in the Rach thread on the football365 forum, which is up to about 500 posts since its inception following
that dress on Monday)

My mates and I were talking about this at the gym yesterday, I think
that dress or alternatively yesterday's foxy red number will become as synonymous with Rachel as Liz Hurley and
that dress or Jodie Marsh and
that outfit.

Nice to see that Rachel has also been given public praise by the show's boss(es).

I'm delighted to see the skirts getting shorter. If you've got it, flaunt it. Perhaps she'll show some gash soon.

Somehow, I think we'll have to wait for a post-watershed Countdown before that ever happens.

UPDATE: Rachel's side of the story:
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/a179058/ ... e.html?rss
It's nice to see that Rachel, like most sensible people has just taken no notice of the "criticism". It's also nice to know that she's comfortable, which is all that matters in the end. Having said that, I think we'd all still love her no matter what she wears.

James, during your schooldays, the "Three Rs" were Reading, 'Riting and 'Rithmetic. But because of Rachel's increasing popularity, I hear they've now been changed to Rachel Riley 'Rithmetic. Makes you wish you were back at school I bet?

Clearly, they don't watch the show too often at The Mirror HQ, as she wore today's dress only 3 weeks ago

she thought may have happened!

Topless bananas? you are getting your fruits mixed up again James - melons or "pairs" are what are normally associated with attractive fruit.
As long as there isn't a drive-by fruiting to report.

I do love the way thought, that in true Sun fashion, there's 'Tricks' meaninglessly put in the middle of the page, when it carries on to state "maths is not about ... tricks"

No, whenever you type in "Countdown" on Google, it sometimes shows some news stories involving the show and quite a lot of the time Rachel's dresses seem to be big news for the newspapers.

We see Rachel like to wear revealing-ish dresses at times, but her predecessor seems to be revealing a bit more than usual at this Swiss do.
