If he does as good as he did against young Joe, he is looking at, in my opinion, octochamp territory! But I have known to be wrong!

What a brilliant game, I can't believe he lost after just one win. Very very high quality too, HUMANISE beat me, I didn't get FROWNED but did get CRAYONED at the end. You can also got 927 on the numbers, get to 925 in the way they did then do (25-5)/10, which is pointless of course but would score 7 points.

I agree. Fantastic game, both in it's quality of words and for the consistency of both players giving a close game throughout, and then to finish with a 2nd crucial conundrum too! He has every right to think himself exceptionally unlucky not to win more than one, but as I said on recap for yesterday, you never know who's coming next.
Plus he obviously wasn't helped by the curse of DoD expected him to go on and win 8! So David, going to make the same prediction with the new champion?! That is 3 top quality players we have had in a row. This series is proving to be a really good one so far and we still have 3 months of it to go. Great stuff.
I missed all spoilers given above but had CRAYONED and TEASLES. I'll have to remember ELASTASE.

TEASLES isn't valid - it's spelt TEASELS.

Holy crap, I can't believe that happened again
Two great champs go out on one win... really hard luck to both.
What a fantastic week it has been so far quality-wise

Nice to hear Susie talking about purple heads when defining TEASELS. Nearly made me choke over breakfast this morning.

Totally agree about this week's quality. And I've yet to watch Monday's game. Both Tuesday and Wednesday have been first class.
