Happy Birthday apterous!

Unfortunately I don't have a Jason Larsen number to hand, but nevertheless we should celebrate that apterous is one year old today. More precisely, on 29 June 2008 I registered the first account (my own) in the database. To celebrate, I've spent some money on the server which should allow it to survive the momentary power cuts that seem to be causing so many problems lately.

Hip hip, hooray!

Well done Charlie. It's an excellent product, and one that has clearly been of benefit to many people. You should be very proud to feel that a lot of the great performances of many of the people who've appeared on the show in the last few months have been largely due to you and your provision of Apterous for their training. Many people have a lot to thank you for.

Quite obviously hours of dedication have gone into the product, not only to introduce it, but to continually enhance it.

He's not proud, he's gutted - it cost him a series!

I hope you've introduced some new faux-drunk apterous functions, so that it really feels like she's going to town to celebrate.
Perhaps one in every 10 words can be wrongly accepted/disallowed today.

So we know Matt will be playing hyper tonight. :P

No really, great job; I only wish I could get something like this going in a year.

Yeah, thanks for all the hard work Charlie. Every time I think I'm ready to take a break from the game, some awesome new feature comes along.

Happy birthday, Apterous!

Isn't it more appropriate to celebrate the day it went live to the world though? This is more like celebrating the conception, which is just really really sick.

Amazing how much the site has evolved over just a year, must have taken a stunning amount of effort to create. Happy birthday apterous!

I echo these sentiments - the site is a credit to yourself Charlie and is definitely something to put on your CV.

To get not just a practice site but an addictive statistics-filled site out of it is super. Long may it continue.

Belated Happy Birthday to apterous, as I was busy with family celebrations myself. :)

Apterous shares a birthday with my 19 year old son, Philip! 8-)
