slightly more obvious route for 1st numbers:

100 + 6 + 6 = 112, x4 = 448
9 - 8 = 1
448 - 1 = 447

Less obvious way for first numbers: (9x100-6)/(8-6)

Apparently the third numbers game has 295 solutions. The most intuitive, allegedly, is (25+10)*3. I wonder if there are any numbers games that have x solutions, where x is also the target...

The way WTP counts solutions is fairly arbitrary, so it's not all that profound, but I would guess on the basis of no evidence whatsoever that there probably is.

I'd have thought it was 9x10 + 5x3. But only because that's how I did it.
