General discussion thread. Put predictions if you want. It seems that Anne, who got stuck in a shop shutter last year, has died. Though it's a weird article, and it's only mentioned in passing.

I never watched it, but James Van Der Beek from Dawson's Creek. We've not had too many this year it seems so far.

Bud Cort. American actor, aged 77. RIP

I realise that most of you guys are too young to remember his short lived career, but the 1971 film "Harold and Maud", in which he played the titular Harold, a troubled teenager with an obsession with death, became a cult classic. I imagine the BBC or possibly C4 will be showing the film in the next few weeks, and if you like your comedy black, and enjoy life affirming films, the i recommend you give it a go.

Is that the same as fartlek?

Fartlek is when you're alternating running hard / easy, rather than actually walking.

Until recently I assumed Chuck Norris was some old singer like Chuck Berry or Chubby Checker. Chevy Chase fell into the same bracket.
