My dad's 50th birthday took place in my high school's hall, after I had left. That was a bit surreal. I've only had about 300 units of alcohol in my life and somewhere in the region of 28 of them were consumed that night, it was a strange experience overall. And for some reason there was a lot of silly string.

When I was at secondary school in the sixth form I went back to my primary school to do some helping out because for some reason sixth formers were supposed to do something like that one afternoon a week.

I've visited a couple of times, no reason to work there though.

Only ever went back for a bungled break-in attempt.

Going back to your old school to teach seems a remarkably dull and unambitious thing to do. Robin Williams' character in Dead Poets Society had no credibility at all with his carpe diem and make your lives extraordinary spiel. Practise what you preach mate.
