Will today's show end in a bloodbath or will it get a happy ending for one of the contestants playing ?
The horror franchise comprises of 12 slasher movies, the first one that was released way back in 1980 it divided some critics, with some praising the film's cinematography and score, while numerous others derided it for its depiction of graphic violence and gore. It was a box office success grossing over $59M worldwide on a budget of $550,000.Contemporary scholars have credited Friday the 13th for initiating the subgenre of the "stalker" or slasher film.

Enough of that let's go for something more cheerful...............on this day in 1969 Ruby and Spears created the popular cartoon Scooby Doo where are you ! It spawned several spin offs such as the Scooby and Scrappy Doo show, Laffalympics a play on the Summer Olympics. It spawned several live action cartoon films and two live action theatrical films.
