Countdown to break for Paralympics 2024

From 29th August to 6th September 2024, Countdown will be off air due to Channel 4 (and More4) showing the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Countdown will resume on 9th September.

This would be as good a place as any to say that Apterite and Series 72 octochamp Steve Redfern's daughter just won gold in the pool
