Pretty unlucky for Alex to come across Arthur like that. It's been a month since Jessica Pratesi octoed and Alex could have probably won any eight consecutive games since then until today.

By the way I didn't think Arthur played much or at all better than Alex did the previous day, but Alex had quite a slump here.

Is it just being unlucky though? Colin said it was the luck of the draw too, but it seems common for contestants who look like becoming octochamps to start on a Wednesday.

I suppose they didn't see the Wednesday potential from the audition so he wasn't "seeded". Still fairly unlucky anyway I'd say.
