Getting this error a lot over the last few days -

"User czcountd_user already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]"

It's been generally really slow and clunky as well.

Same here. Good to know it's not just me.

wiki is poorly too. Keeps losing session data.

The best thing you can do if these keeps happening is raise a ticket on apterous. Charlie checks those more regularly, and he can access the database, but I can't.

I have been getting the same error myself

Got the error again just now

369 users online. There seems to be a downward trend from when it seemed to always be in the 500s.

We're down to 240 users online. The c4c hype is dying down.

I think we are back to normal now

You can see what the 'guests' are up to. It is a bit odd. Dunno if it displays IP addresses for admins...

I can't see IP addresses of non-logged-in users, but I'm a "global moderator" rather than an "admin". Perhaps it's some kind of bot trying to index the site for a search engine? Usually these show up as things like "Bing [Bot]", but maybe there are newer bots not recognised by phpBB.

Way down at 282 now.

Edit- down to 261 in the blink of an eye.

.... and 650 again.

My money's on an apterite learning computer science who is trying to write a crawler and not doing it very well!
