Round 1: M A R I N O T R E

Lucas: rationer
Toby: ROMANITE (8)
OT: ANTERIOR (8)
Score: 0–8 (max 8)

Not the best start from our champion Lucas with his rather risky that is disallowed by Susie sadly..................our challenger Toby gets score with his 8 and takes an early lead

Lucas: AFRAID (6)
Toby: FARTED (6)

Lucas: TRAITS (6)
Toby: ORGIAST (7)
OT: AGISTOR (7) ORATIST (7) RITTAGS (7)
Score: 25–57 (max 61)

A good 7 from Toby with Orgiast..............this was one I spotted the usual brand of rudeness from our recap writer Tracey Mills

Round 9: 50, 100, 2, 9, 10, 2. Target: 284.

C1: 284. Mistake in working.

Another good solve from our champion Toby.............but not for our Champion Lucas who misses it..............meanwhile I found a different way of getting 284

100+50=150
150-10=140
140+2=142
142*2=284

Teatime teaser: SIRNUDGE -> GRUNDIES

RR: 938/940
OT: 939. (50 × 25 + 2) × 75 ÷ 100 (10)
Score: 44–101 (max 110)

Not easiest of 4 Largest our challenger does well to get 3 away and 7 points..............Rachel can only manage 1 either side........but trust me folks it is solvable

Round 15: T I N A S F A S T

C2 buzzes on 2.25 seconds to say FANTASIST which is correct.
Final Score: 44–111 (max 120)

Image

A super speedy buzz from our new champion Toby and the newest member of the teapot club , I have a funny feeling that we could be seeing him on our screens over coming the days, but take nothing away from Lucas will his 6 wins and his 607 points be enough for the Series 89 finals ? Join me again to see how our apterite Toby gets on...........in the meantime it is bye for now
