On this day in 1959 English musician Chris Lowe he is a singer/songwriter keyboardist and the co-founder of the synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys was born on this day. They were formed in 1981 with his partner Neil Tennant and are still going strong to this day, they have sold over 50M records making them the most successful duo in UK music history.
