What’s the most remarkable anagram you know of?

All discussion relevant to Countdown that is not too spoilerific. New members: come here first to introduce yourself. We don't bite, or at least rarely.

What’s the most remarkable anagram you know of?

Post by Johnny Canuck »

In terms of low probability, famousness of both sides, whatever you want.

PRESBYTERIANS = BRITNEY SPEARS has to win it for me
I'm not dead yet. In a rut right now because of stress from work. I'll be back later in S89. I also plan to bring back the Mastergram - if I can find a way to run a timer or clock through pure MediaWiki without having to upload to Vimeo every time.

In an entirely selfish answer, I found it remarkable the day that I found out (through Countdown-adjacent Quinn James) that NBA player Sam Dekker's name is an anagram of mine own. Two Ks in nine letters, it's gotta be unlikely.

That Britney Spears one and ELEVEN PLUS TWO = TWELVE PLUS ONE are the two more oft-cited that came to mind for me.
Mike Brown: "Round 12: T N R S A E I G U

C1: SIGNATURE (18) ["9; not written down"]
C2: SEATING (7)
Score: 108–16 (max 113)

Another niner for Adam and yet another century. Well done, that man."

New York Giants being an anagram of Towering Yanks is probably my current favourite

Only A Valentino could make an anagram so beautiful

Neil Warnock is known to many football fans as Colin. I'll let you work out the rest.
