Hello and welcome to another recap

On this day in 1986 English synth-pop band Pet Shop Boys released their debut album Please, According to the duo they chose the title so that people would go in to into a record shop and ask " Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album Please ? " The album spawned 4 singles the highly successful West End Girls that reached no1 in the UK and US. Their second single Love Comes Quickly that was a top 20 hit reaching No 19 in the charts and a favourite amongst their fans, their third single Opportunities ( Let's Make Lots of Money ) which was aimed at greed within the music business , this scraped the top 10 Charting at 11 in the UK charts, Suburbia their 4th release from Please was more successful reaching No 8 giving the Pet Shop Boys their 2nd top 10 hit, it is a great album and one that is worth listening to. The album reached No 3 in the album charts selling over 3 Million copies worldwide.
