Hello Countdownwers and welcome to another fun packed recap, after seeing Harry Savage reach octochamp glory on Friday we welcome two brand new contestants in to the studio............which one of these will walk away with the winners teapot or a just a goody bag ??????? Lets find how these will go on !

On this day in 1995 Britpop bands Blur and Oasis were embroiled in a chart rivalry dubbed the battle of Britpop. London based band Blur decided to release their single Country House from their 4th studio album The Great Escape on the same day as Oasis' Roll with it from their 2nd studio album What's The Story Morning Glory ? Blur's Country House reached no1 in the UK charts outselling Oasis' Roll With It and relegating it to the no 2 spot.
