I'm tentative on joining myself. Feel like it's the best way for me to feel active again on social media but I feel like the app's gonna be a flash in the pan.

I get the feeling Threads is going to last longer than Twitter. I don't know if it'll take a while or not but Mark Zuckerberg already owns a ton of social media and although he and Elon Musk are just as insane as each other, Zuckerberg is a lot quieter about it.

Because I associate Instagram with photos, I assumed "Threads" was related to clothing / fashion. Reading this topic it seems it's a rival to Twitter, but the name threw me.
