I saw gumtree in round 7, but it's still not valid. In round 13, Susie offered paralyze, saying that it is not an American spelling. However, while -IZE is not an Americanism, I think -YZE is, and paralyze is certainly not valid on Apterous in any case.

Definition of paralyse in English:
paralyse
Pronunciation: /ˈparəlʌɪz/
(paralyze US English)

So, yeah, no.

-YSE is also an Oxford spelling, as well as -IZE. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oxford_spelling I confidently went for paralyze x, but forgot about the -yze Americanism. Easy to mix up. Now I shall note myself that -IZE(R), -ISE(R) and -YSE(R) and inflected forms are generally accepted (there are of course a few exemptions).

More solid numbers from Pouvanen, so finals and Octochampdom still on the cards.
