Goodness me, every other month it happens.
Burt Bacharach recently though he has died now. Basically every famous person who hasn't been working.
You could put this in the Mandela effect thread.
Or have I just imagined that.

You'll have to been born before 1970 to remember him, but Freddie "Parrot Face" Davies is still alive, and still working, apparently.

Arthur Scargill, 85yo.... I always assumed he was much older when he was leader of the NUM.

Also, Boris Spassky*,86yo, former World Chess Champion, who was defeated by Bobby Fischer in 1972.
