Are, audiences back at Countdown now?

I was only wondering as on the information received with regards to my appearance on the show, it says I can bring a guest who is allowed to sit with the audience

Pretty sure your guest is the audience.
Nothing on the usual ticket site, and I'd expect an email as I'm on the mailing list, so doesn't look like it.

As of August, the audience are your guest, your opponent's guest (should they bring one), and the Countdown team....

No more studio audiences permanently, was confirmed in 2021; cost-cutting exercise which is wholesale on lots of daytime shows.
I think the above 2 comments are accurate.

I've only just noticed the errant comma.
The fact I never noticed it makes it a, wait for it, comma chameleon
