I think BIGNESS is alright for a DC-equaller but I didn't get any DC-beaters.

BIGNESS is fine. I had PANNOSE^ in one round and that turned out to be rubbish too. I think I was thinking of MANNOSE.

In round 2 you can have OESTRIN - which is only a seven but its still an interesting one. Also according to my shorter ODE i have discovered that ROUTINERS is applicable although it is rare. There is also ABRADES, AIRLINES,URETHRA and HOAXED in rounds 3,11,12 and 13 respectively

ROUTINERS and OESTRIN wouldn't be valid, bear in mind it's not the Shorter Oxford but the Oxford Edition Revised Second Edition that validates the words. The Shorter Oxford is a much bigger dictionary and there are going to be quite a few that are valid in it but not valid on the show. Nice equalisers though, I think I had MARINISE and SEABIRD in two other rounds but I couldn't spot any beaters today.

I might have gone for SIDEBAR instead of BRAISED, I saw PACILY and PACIFY earlier in the game as well. I suppose they are both ok.

Another game that brings us 2 rounds of triple letters. What next? Perhaps AAINSSSSS?

Speaking of hash smokers, maybe that's the reason for the new scrambles.
