Fuck that guy.

I do wish the outlets wouldn't run with "Countdown contestant" though. I get that it's an angle and is inevitable, but, eh, it's not like it's in any way WHY he did this.

Looking at the apterous history of this guy and Alex Rivers makes my blood run cold. Both were playing people who were children at the time.

None of us really know most of our opponents on the site - I'm sure these guys probably seemed pleasant, friendly and safe.

I raised a ticket a while back about protecting minors on apto - consensus was that there was far worse stuff out there on the internet, which I'm sure is true, but doesn't mean we couldn't and shouldn't do more - parents are paying for subscriptions, so needs to be clearly flagged that the site is unmoderated and their children will be able to chat privately to other users who are predominantly adults. Report functions for users, and for private chat (I've no idea if private chat histories are preserved, but they should be in the event that they're reported) that are quickly acted upon.

It's really nasty stuff. In cases like this you wonder how someone can end up so far on the side of wrong and at what point that developed.

Horrible, absolutely shocking. Some of that stuff is on a par with some of Jon Venables' crimes. I should think his life in prison will be hell too, even on a vulnerable prisoners' wing.

Nasty stuff. Btw, would like to see the Touch Jnr variant renamed. Too creepy.

Agreed. ‘Junior’ should be ‘Easy’ or ‘Hypo’. ‘Easy Touchdown’ would look better. Even ‘Touchdown Jnr’ would look better.

Lame.
Only creepy if someone's mindset is impure.
