It must be due to technical problems rather than what happened in the programme. Craig Charles’s game show Moneybags has also been pulled.

I think a fire alarm went off a couple of months or so ago. Probably explains it.

We’ve experienced temporary technical issues related to the new operating process that was put in place after the outage. We are working to rectify it as quickly as possible but can confirm that the peak schedule is unaffected.

He was probably picked for dictionary corner because of his new game show. Speaking of Moneybags, they have just tweeted to say that Channel 4 have had an outage after a new operating system which is being installed.

What was on instead? Anything? Nothing?

Do they push everything back by one day, or perhaps keep the schedule as is & make today's episode available to view on More 4 instead?

It’s not set in stone and there’s no rigorous structure so we just have no idea. It’s just impossible to answer these questions TBH.

Ok, I'll take that as a "that news hasn't been released yet".
Hopefully they will set something in stone sooner rather than later.

What's the situation with C4's 5am repeats of Countdown? Just wondering if we may get tihs game premiering there?

The 5am airing of Countdown is repeats of episodes from a few weeks ago.

I'd be very surprised if everything got pushed back a day. The amount of "on this day"s and "see you next week"s it would break seems too high

Mebbe - but possibly only for 2 weeks - if they show the final on Christmas eve instead of the 23rd, it would all be sorted by New Year. Last time one was pulled at the last minute it never got aired (yet) - I do hope we see this one - either Stu becoming an octochamp, or a challenger unseating him would be good to see - and Stu seems to have been a popular contestant in the twittersphere - who doesn't like a hairy Scotsman with a winning smile a parrot?

But Monday's episode will 'spoil' the result anyway - either we'll have two new players, in which case we deduce Stu won, or a champion with 1 win behind them.

Fridays edition is apparently available on Virgin Catchup. Not on all-4 yet though.

It's a poor show from them yet again that they can't get stuff on their own catch-up service but it can appear on third party sites. I just had a look and the most recent episode on All 4 is Wednesday 1st December. So I can't watch today's episode either. (Or last Thursday's if I hadn't already seen it.)

Thursday's was on All4, or at least on my iPad it was.

Weird, because it's not on Android or PC. Not weird, because it's Channel 4 and their catch-up service is all over the place.

I haven’t seen it yet either but because of the recals I’m not going to bother watching. There are a few missing episodes in this series and the series before as well.
