Oh sweet Lord, I swear on my life that about ten minutes ago I was gonna post something along the lines of "Happy Birthday Phil. I shudder to think what MWM might have PM'd you."

So having missed that boat, I shall just say "Happy Birthday Phil" :)

Thank you very much for your greetings Jason, James and Alec - and for your usual backhanded compliment (or is it a fronthanded insult?) James ;)

I would send you a bit of birthday cake, Jason, but it might be mouldy by the time it's crossed the world!

Sorry to miss your birthday on Saturday, Derek, as I was at CoLei2, so didn't know. I hope it was a good one. :)

So now we've both met Sue - isn't she a scream?!

Thank you for your belated wishes, Julie. Very kind.

Yes, Sue is very lively. I put some fish in her mouth last time, and she calmed down.

Not really fair to call yourself boring though - some people just don't show all of their personality for a while.

LOL! If you want the long version, Kirk, my daughter, Claire, cooked sausages, bacon, black pudding, egg (both fried and scrambled), tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and toast, in the kitchen, and brought mine with a cup of tea, to me in my bedroom! :)
And no, if anyone was wondering and interested, she isn't looking to leave home anytime soon! ;)

I always remember enjoying weekend birthdays the most when I was younger, as you have more time to enjoy yourself. Hope it's a good one! :D
