Highest score from a challenger against a carryover champion, and third-highest in Countdown history. Amazing. The letters were shuffled nicely and Stu’s practice on Apterous paid dividends. Congratulations Stu!

This episode reminded me of when Elliott Mellor made his debut 2.5 years ago. Great game by Stu who definitely came back a lot stronger after 14 years! Man if he faces Ahmed Mohamed in the Finals (should he make it) it looks like it's going to be a fun game....
