Great debut by Ahmed, very composed. Daaniyal without doubt one of the politest contestants and most dedicated Countdown fans in the history of the show. Both wonderful players.

Makes me wonder is Daaniyal the guy who runs the countdowngoofs channel on YouTube and Dailymotion after hearing the ending today? It's a shame the draw meant that he couldn't face Ahmed, but if there's one good thing about him, it's his memory of dates, even I can't do that!
Ahmed was very strong, wow if he maintains his performance he could be way up at the top!
