In my opinion, ERECTABLE is a rather more obscure word than CELEBRATE -- I wonder if the answer board originally had CELEBRATE as the intended answer, with the alternate solution edited in.

I thought the same. They probably stopped the recording to check if ERECTABLE was in and then started again as if it was always intended.

Edit - Here and here are a couple of relevant links to show it's happened before.

It's happened a couple of times before I think. I believe celebrate was the intended answer, but erectable also valid.

Yes, poor choice of word! Said "ERECTABLE" and silence. Had no idea what was going on till Rachel told me after a minute or so (probably a few seconds but felt like ages). The conundrum board was changed. Looks nice and slick on the edit though
