The regular Nick statement "2 good players" did resonate today , and felt for Paul as he would have probably seen off Adam off. Tony seemed like a good all rounder- maybe he will octo and we will see the series standard increase... Luck of the draw though!

He won 2 shows in 1999, too. Seems a decent player.

So the final selection with all those nines seems like a famous selection in countdown. Like how a selection that gives you notarised is.

Gosh, I didn't realise I had been watching that long! Thinking about it, I probably started watching in about 1999ish.
Thanks Tom, I do remember being surprised when Susie disallowed and stating that it was only valid with another word, eg leg or pocket.
