FELLATIO (R2 alt)
A group for contestants and lovers of the Channel 4 game show 'Countdown'.

You joined the forum, and waited four years for this opportunity before posting. That shows real discipline.
Yes, when Jon Culshaw said "There's a really nice eight" I wasn't expecting him to come up with FOLIATED.Cathy Summerside wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 6:22 pm I don't think I've ever seen an alternative/DC beater before that no-one else has posted. Today, I knew that my moment had arrived. Now it feels like I've just walked into a roomful of strangers and shouted 'Fellatio!' You have no idea how liberating that is.
Unless his next showing on Monday which the recording came only a day after today's episode on 4 April can prove he improves in the Numbers, I believe so. He is good in his 4L but when it comes to other Number Combinations I can tell he screws up, especially today when R6 and R14 were so easy! Same applies to R6 yesterday! On the other hand, he is lucky to be facing average contestants at the moment. If he stumbles upon an Apterous-standard contestant, God bless him.
Congratulations, it shows your four years of watching Countdown (or even more before joining here) has paid off! We are proud of you! And on a sidenote, to those on the Daily Chat that spotted MONOTINT in Round 11, excellent job as well! (I'm not one of them though...)Cathy Summerside wrote: ↑Thu Jul 05, 2018 6:22 pm I don't think I've ever seen an alternative/DC beater before that no-one else has posted. You know there's this thing called a tentative schedule here right? We've only had to change it once to accommodate my country's Grand Prix in September last year! http://wiki.apterous.org/Series_79
Thanks Ryan! (I spotted MONOTINT, but wouldn't have risked declaring it. I will add it to my list of 'words that sound like they're made up but aren't').
I don't think he will, personally, but he seems nice.
His average is just below 90 a game, so yeah if he does he won't be one of the best octochamps we've seen. Impossible to really say tbh - we've had contestants better than him who've met their match and lost and had contestants a good deal less talented who've scraped to 8 on crucials and low scores. It'd be nice to see him octo, though.
I was just joking. I knew it wouldn't happen. I'm not very good with humour.Ryan Lam wrote: ↑Fri Jul 06, 2018 12:36 amUnless his next showing on Monday which the recording came only a day after today's episode on 4 April can prove he improves in the Numbers, I believe so.
