If anyone can do it, we can. Its definition could possibly be along the lines of 'a wild and desperate guess'. Variant spelling: gandisee

You know it makes sense!

At the very least it should be added to all the dictionaries used by CountMax, apterous etc., if only to create the slim possibility of some future contestant learning it on there and declaring it on the show....

Hmmm, might be difficult to include gandiseeg into a piece of literary criticism. However, in the absence of Richard Stilgoe, might I be the first to include it in a piece of poetry:

There was a young feller called Charlie,
Who made it right to the Countdown finale,
But the Conundrum was mean
He buzzed in...'gandiseeg'
And O'Donnell leapt from his seat at such blarney.

I thank you.

Considering the limericks usually produced by the Corby family, that was pretty good.

FYI: In order for me to have any chance of a half rhyme, I should point out I was using the standard Britt-ish pronunciation of gandiseeg which has the silent end 'g'.

It is done. in a recent Unlimited practice with Prune, I declared GANDISEEG (even though I had DISENGAGING). Does that deserve some sort of custom item?
