Current best score 3 (from a max of 16).

(I think it's only fair to mention that this puzzle isn't just running here; outside of c4c, 7/16 currently leads the pack).

Jim, I've been meaning to ask, why did you have 1GQAYsGQ3D5dZGtyJfDBD2M7Tgc6qZ4x5W in your signature a few weeks ago, which you then changed to 949804e3-ff9e-4456-9009-ab8af7de6f26? I puzzled over them at the time but couldn't decipher what they meant. It now says "Why are you reading this? There's nothing of interest here. Look elsewhere..."

It was just a encryption test, really (and of people's curiosity). The first one was a password that was generated from my actual password for this forum using a single character kernel, but then I got a bit paranoid that someone might work it out, so I changed it to a nonsense string, simple as that. Neither has any use in any situation anymore.

As for the current one..http://www.c4countdown.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=11809.

The end. If you entered, you'll have received a PM; if not, why are you even reading this?

Your participation has been appreciated.

I was still reading because I was expecting a countdown to 01, not for you to stop at 03. What a gyp!

I wanted it to stop at (0)07 because it would have been funny, because of Bond and that. Or 01. But I had no control over it, I'm afraid.
