Of the 8 people in the series finals, 7 are now confirmed following Robin McKay's mastery of the 6th octochamp run of the series. A minimum of 5 wins will be needed to reach the finals at this point, and they will need to be achieved within the 4 preliminaries (3 June -- my birthday -- being given over to horse racing) held in each of the next 2 weeks if they want a chance to be the series' #1. Now, more than ever... the Countdown is on.

I may not be able to recap round results tomorrow for the benefit of the wiki, as I will be in an interview with my academic adviser for part of the time when the show is on, so if JR, Tony or someone else could fill in it would be much appreciated.
