diveier?
No, two syllables so it would have to be specified.
Well, you'd have to say "more divey" then, not just "divey" because your sentence doesn't make sense!

I could have sworn it used to start earlier than that....

I can definitely provide a second board game now if you're still struggling.

That would be very much appreciated, thanks- hopefully I will have enough on the day depending on very very very last minute entries!

I'll bring a couple too as backup.

Excellent- that brings my total (of gamea) to 19 so unless my Paypal account gets dramatically excited over the next 3 days, we should be covered. :)

For a moment I thought this might now be a valid plural, but sadly not. We'll have to wait until the 29th century when the ODO introduces it with this post as the only usage example.

The more it gets quoted and requoted, the sooner it'll be added.

I thought I'd share this here too since there has been discussion on how to adjudicate words:
JackHurst wrote:The chance of being able to declare a new word as a max is around 16%. The chance you can beat the old max (OED max) by playing a new word is around 7%

I think the apterous lexicon is pretty much up to date now. Going through some fairly recent conundrum attacks, it appears that a lot of words that used to be valid as conundrums are not anymore, due to some new alternatives. I'd advise you to check them Ben, or at least the ones that look like they might have new alternatives.

My conundrums are all printed and ready to go now, and there's 320 of them so checking them all would take some time! I will have a look through tonight though, if I get the chance.
