Well done on your 5 wins, Rhys, go away and practice the letters a bit more, then come back in 5 years or so and blow everyone away (figuratively speaking of course!)

OUTLINES, TRAPEZIUM, and 831 would have got me the win, which annoys me a little. I had OUTLINES the day before, had writtten down TRAP, and was so busy looking for 832 that I completely overlooked the easy 831. I chatted with Rachel afterwards about this and she understood what I meant, she's done it sometimes too.
Pat was certainly the most confident opponent I faced.
5 wins and 494 may or may not be enough to get back for the finals, and I now face an agonising wait...
Nick kept getting Joe's name wrong ("Macclederry") and this became slightly annoying.
If they're reading this, I'd like to thank everyone at Countdown for the experience and making it enjoyable. Apart from Damian, who mocked me constantly over JAILBAKER, SPONDERED, and Fulham...
