My first spoiler thread of the new series sees Aptoforumite Rhys Benjamin on two wins to start off the series. Can he get a third today?

I think Jen is back, so join her for the recap later.

SHOUTIER is one of three beaters in R4, DASTOOR beater in R5, MUSHIER and MISHEAR as equallers in R8,
but there is an 8 there (I didn't get it).

SHOUTIER isn't listed. It finds SHOUTY if you search for it but that has been discredited as a method (O'Neill, 2015). By contrast GOUTIER was there as a DC equaller in round 11 because it's explicitly listed.

In Colin's numbers game:
7 x (75 plus 9) - 50/2 also works.

MUSHAIRA in round 8, as well as HERITORS in round 4. Well done again, Rhys.

Or in Reece's method 500+7x9

Tip for anyone: if you're going to declare not written down, actually remember what the hell your method is...

Like Rhys's opponent I looked for the 11*50 solution first, keeping the 9 & 4 left over to add on, and it was there with (75+2)/7 8-)
