Well I will - ODE3 only has lowercase v, ODO has uppercase V in the title but lowercase v in the example sentence.

There was an alt 8 there anyway and also an 8 in the "OUTSETS" round.

Yeah, and there is a verb as well, which uses the lower case too.

VEINLETS as the alternative in that one, and TESTUDOS in the "OUTSETS" round. ENCOMIA in round 13 too.

2nd Numbers Alt.: ((75 + 1) x 7) + 6 = 538
3rd Numbers Alt.: (100 - 9 - ((75 + 50) / 25)) x 7 = 602

To clarify, it also uses it in the example sentence as opposed to the entry. It's a weird one, but it's explicitly listed with a capital, so I'd say it's out. I'm not sure if example sentences count as the rules.

It was allowed in OED3, presumably as a verb as there is only one type of vaseline (or Vaseline if you prefer).
